From July 12 to 14, 2019 the first “Urban and Rural China” Summit hosted by China Urban and Rural Construction Industry Alliance and Hai'an Municipal People's Government was held in Jiangsu Province’s Hai'an.
- Meeting place
- Jiangsu, China
With the conference being addressed by Hai'an city’s Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Gu Guobiao, following a keynote speech by Yu Lizhong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and the mayor of the city. Attendees of the conference ranged from high-level directors and leaders of the former Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and its Committee, as well as members of the party group and key industry experts who had delivered special reports and speeches in the related field. Ms. Wang Jiakun, partner of Germany-based Frey Construction Group and the group’s president in Greater China, was invited to join in the forum and to share insights on “German passive ultra-low energy buildings and development trends” in her presentation.
In her vivid speech, Ms. Wang took the audience on a journey starting from the ongoing debates on global climate change and the urgent necessities setting up a new system of requirements to improve the environment in a more sustainable way, thus building a bridge to the positive impacts passive ultra-low energy houses can contribute to achieve climate goals and wrapping up the topic by sharing insights how highly efficient and energy saving passive house technology “made in Germany” e.g. by Frey Group can be implemented smoothly.
Through making full use of natural energy sources and adopting solar energy heating,
passive houses greatly reduce the use of conventional energy sources - not only reducing the user's heating costs, but also adopting ecological construction modes from energy collection and management systems to reduce the overall environmental load of people's daily activities.
At present, “green”, “energy-saving” and “environmental protection” are surely going to become a new vane in the future development of the construction and building industry. The promotion of passive ultra-low-energy buildings will be an inevitable trend in the future development of green buildings in China: in particular forming an important measure to promote the leverage of the existing building industry and to deepen the structural reform of the supply side of the construction industry.
Frey Construction Group commits itself to the design and development of energy-efficient buildings for many years. Striving for synergies and seeking for multipliers in the related field, Frey Group is willing to share its platform for technical information, practical project experience in passive building, positive energy house and green ecological city construction, and actively promotes the application of new materials and new technologies to ultimately combining the experience of Germany's ultra-low energy passive building and sustainable urban development in China as an advocate and practitioner of ecologically livable homes.
