The experts were then accompanied by Mr. Klaus Hoppe, consultant and expert in sustainable urban development in Freiburg, on a field trip to visit a number of the Group’s projects, such as the 'pro scholare' community apartments and the 'Eco - Greenhouse' in the city area of Rieselfeld.
During their tour and visit of projects cases and advanced eco-urban planning put into practice, the experts paid great attention to the ingenious design ideas that have been used to diversify rainwater harvesting systems in urban areas and to improve the delicate relationship between people and buildings.
The delegation from the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design fully affirmed the efforts and achievements made by the Frey Architekten Group in promoting the development of Sino-German ultra-low-energy ecological buildings and the dissemination of technical experience.
The two sides expressed the hope that the exchange and cooperation between China and Germany on experiences and technologies in sustainable ecological urban planning and construction could be further strengthened in the future.
