The meeting was hosted by the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission and assisted by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. Mr. Shi Mingde, Chinese Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Pierre-Tavar, Global Vice President of Schneider Germany, Professor Ron Manz, member of German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and tenure of Free University of Berlin, Professor Jacob de Bol, professor of VU University of Amsterdam Netherland and expert of the National Thousand Talents Program, and Wang Jiakun, partner of Frey Group, representatively delivered speech at the conference. On behalf of the Chinese entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable and energy-efficient buildings in Germany, 

Ms. Wang Jiakun introduced the origin and development of the Frey Group to the participants, and demonstrated projects of ultra-low-energy passive green buildings that jointly promoted in China and Germany, and other achievements in sustainable eco-city planning in recent years.The conference invited and attracted hundreds of internationally renowned experts and high-level overseas talents in the fields of new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and advanced manufacturing.

At the conference, Secretary Luo Huining introduced the social and economic development of Shanxi Province, as well as the attraction of high-tech industries, high-end talents and innovative teams in the province. Subsequently, Secretary Luo Huining awarded the certificate of “Shanxi Overseas High-end Talents” for Ms. Wang Jiakun in person.
