The exhibition area was divided into 18 sections covering almost the whole architectural industrial chain with building materials, interior decoration, building design and cutting-edge energy-saving technology.

Ranging from new architectural coatings to smart home appliance systems, new wind turbines, intelligent water treatment recycling systems, artificial intelligence and automatic control systems this exhibition attracted a lot of leading companies in the related field together with experts from all around the world.  

Informing about future trends in building development the Sino-German Ecopark’s booth attracted a great number of international investors. As the first ecological intelligent park jointly built by China and Germany it is also the most unique German ecological park. Sino-German Ecopark supports Frey Group to introduce and to implement projects in the field of German passive house technology. 

The “Passive House Demonstration Community (II)” was built as the first passive house demonstration community project invested and developed by Frey Group in China.

Among different themes of building materials, new insulation materials and products for the heat exchange ventilation of passive houses were presented at the fair. Here, the company Eyrise (Darmstadt, Germany) impressed with its intelligent (smart) sun protection glass system. Also, a lecture on applications of traditional materials in energy-efficient buildings organized by the German Ministry of Housing and Urban Development rose awareness of the audience for topics such as sustainable green building.

Summarized, the BAU2019 exhibition not only provided the industry's understanding of the latest building energy-saving technologies and the latest building materials, but also expanded the industry's vision bringing together in forums stakeholders and experts to exchange new ideas.
