The conference was organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Federation of Industrial Economics and Hunan, Henan, Hubei, Anhui , Jiangxi and Shanxi Provincial People's Government co-sponsored.

This Expo is the largest one held so far. The exhibitors include domestic and foreign government agencies and parks, investment promotion agencies, diplomatic envoys of relevant countries in China, international economic organizations, business associations, domestic and foreign enterprises, investment and financing institutions and scientific research institutions. Representatives of the institutes, etc. Ms. Wang Jiakun, partner of German Frey Group-WFP Architekten and president of China Region, was also invited to participate in the event.

The opening ceremony and keynote forum of the 12th Central China Expo officially started at 9:30 am on the 21st. The host introduced the guests to the participants and invited them to give speeches. Finally, Vice Premier of the State Council Hu Chunhua delivered a keynote speech and announced the official opening of the 12th Central China Investment and Trade Expo.

The special event kicked off with the China (Jin)-Russian Youth New Wanli Tea Road Innovation and Development Forum on the 20th. The highlight was the investment environment promotion and project matchmaking meeting of the six central provinces in the following days, the foreign-invested enterprise symposium, and the new products. Release exhibition,

 special product order meeting, exchange meeting of Chinese and foreign investment promotion agencies, special seminars and forums, special promotion activities of the six central provinces, etc.

The main exhibition hall of the investment and trade exhibition consists of comprehensive exhibitions, special exhibitions and new product exhibitions. The comprehensive exhibition includes the central exhibition area, the six central provinces exhibition area, the Hong Kong and Macao exhibition area, etc.; the special exhibition includes the science and technology financial service exhibition area, the international industry exhibition area, the cultural tourism exhibition area, the ecological environment protection exhibition area, the health care industry exhibition area, etc.; the new product exhibition includes the overseas product exhibition area, the central exhibition area, etc. Regional new products, new technologies, new achievements exhibition area, etc. These three pavilions will be on display at Jinyang Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center during the Expo from 21st to 23rd.

The 12^th Central China Investment and Trade Expo is an important platform for implementing the national strategy for the rise of central China ,creating a new highland for inland opening, and realizing high quality development of the central regionin the new era. Taking the opportunity of the 12^th Central     China Investment and Trade Expo, the central region will embrance the world with a more open attitude.
