The Sino-Singapore International Green Building Forum, hosted by the China Urban Science Research Association, the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Management Committee, the Singapore Construction Authority, and the Green Building and Energy Conservation Professional Committee of the China Urban Science Research Association, has the theme of 'From Green Buildings to Green Urban Areas' It was successfully held in Tianjin Eco-city on September 28, 2018.

The forum has three parallel sub-forums including 'Green Building Comprehensive Forum', 'Passive House Design and Practice' and 'Sponge City'.

Mr. Qiu Baoxing, Counselor of the State Council, gave a keynote speech as a special guest. Mr. Wang Guoliang, Director of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Management Committee, Mr. Lim Youyang, Director of Singapore Construction Authority, and Mr. Dai Lixiang, 

Deputy Director of Singapore Construction Authority attended the meeting and delivered speeches on different topics for the opening ceremony and the main forum.

Mr. Sven Ring, Technical Director of Frey Group-WFP Architekten China, was invited to participate in the meeting, and gave a sub-forum on the theme of 'Passive House Design and Practice' titled 'Introduction to Self-Invested Development and Design of Ultra-Low Energy Passive Building Examples' Keynote Speech.

The convening of this forum has demonstrated to the industry and the public the feasibility and sustainability of ecological civilization construction under resource constraints. Development and promotion of eco-city construction provide more possibilities.
