From July 26th to 27th, 2018, the 13th Conference on Urban Development and Planning was held in Suzhou, China, hosted by the Chinese Society for Urban Studies(CSUS), the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Suzhou Municipal People's Government. The theme of this conference is 'Urban Design Leads Green Development and Cultural Inheritance'.

The conference gathered more than 2,700 leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, top experts and scholars in the planning field at home and abroad, urban planners, planning and design personnel at home and abroad, well-known entrepreneurs and well-known media friends.
