Opening a new chapter in the joint cooperation of Sino-German energy partnership the Science, Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (CSTCMOC) together with the German Energy Agency (DENA) successfully held the sixth building conference on energy efficiency improvement in Zhengzhou and Beijing from November 4th to November 8th, 2019.

A clear focus of this platform is the current status, best practices applied and capacity-building trends in the field of ultra-low and near-zero energy buildings with the exchange of latest achievements, the application of key component parts in energy-efficient buildings and organized demonstration tours to the Sino-German projects.

Forming a member of DENA, Frey Construction Group’s President of China, Ms. Wang Jiakun, was cordially invited to share first-hand insights on “Sino-German Near Zero Energy Building Cases” and outlined the development of energy-saving buildings in China and Germany during recent years.



Ms. Wang stated that “passive low-energy buildings have developed from scratch in China and achieved remarkable results in both demonstration and promotion. They have become the most energy-efficient, comfortable, healthy, livable and high-quality buildings in China which embody a people-oriented design concept and thus let people actually feel the building, with its comfort, energy and health.”

The development of passive buildings in China has driven the domestic development of related high-tech industries with both domestic and foreign experts striving to continuously promote the quality upgrading of construction energy-saving products and the excellence of engineering construction.
