Mr. Wolfgang Frey, chairman of Frey Architekten Group, Ms. Jiakun Wang, partner & CEO of China region was invited to the conference as experts in the field of green & ultra-low energy consumption passive building.

In response to “Promote a sound economic structure that facilitates green, low-carbon, and circular development, develop eco-friendly growth models and ways of life” delivered in the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the conference was themed on “Promote green building towards quality era”, and jointly hosted by Chinese Society for Urban Studies, Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government, U.S.-China Green Fund, China Green Building Council and Eco-city Research Committee of Chinese Society for Urban Studies, and co-sponsored by Zhuhai Housing, Urban-Rural Planning and Development Bureau and others.

The conference mainly aimed at: 1. exchanging the latest scientific and technological achievements, the advanced idea, the development trend, the innovative material and the successful cases of green building as well as building energy efficiency from China and abroad; 2. discussion on the technical standard, the policy measures, the assessment system, the detection and identification of green building and building energy efficiency; 3. share of the new experience in the global development of green building and build energy efficiency. 

For this, the conference organized an integrated forum and 48 separated parallel forums in the field of green building and build energy efficiency, and has attracted more than 300 green building councils, public institutions, famous enterprises, and more than 3000 representatives from China and abroad to be present.

Mr. Wolfgang Frey has made two expert reports on the topics of “Design of green building and share of practical experience” and “Case sharing of passive building”. He shared in the conference the innovative designs and practical applications in the field of ecological, sustainable building based on the purport “putting people first” from Frey Architekten Group, including projects “Smart Green Tower”, and “Heidelberg Village- Living Community”, which received much attention. Ms. Jiakun Wang made an introduction on the topic “case sharing of green ecological city” into the innovations on the sustainable development in Freiburg region, Germany, such as green ultra-low energy consumption architectures, rational utilization of natural resources and so on.

This is the 8^th time that Frey Architekten Group has been invited to participate the International Conference on Green and Energy-Efficient Building. This shows that Frey Architekten Group wishes to facilitate the exchange of green ecological technologies and ideas between Germany and China, to promote the application of passive building in cities and the perspective of promoting the sustainable development of ecological environment and green city.
