Delegation of Beijing Capital Development Holdings Group Visited Germany Frye Construction Group

On June 21, a five-member delegation led by Mr. Yan Li, General Manager of Beijing Capital Development Holdings Group (hereinafter referred to as “CDH Group”) visited Heidelberg, the historical city of the Neckar River in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and toured in the world’s largest passive urban project, the “New Train City” (Neu Bahnstadt ).

CDH Group is a state-owned large-scale enterprise group formed by the merger and reorganization of Chengkai Group and Tianhong Group under the leadership of the Beijing State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It is mainly engaged in commercial housing development, engineering construction, holding property and property management. Its comprehensive competence of real estate development ranks in the forefront in China.

 

During the visit, Ms. Zhilan Duan, head of the Chinese department of Frye Construction Group of Germany, accompanied the tour and introduced the “Heidelberg Township”, a passive residential area which is  independently invested, designed and developed by Frye Construction Group of Germany. Afterwards, Mr. Wolfgang Frye, Chairman of the Frye Construction Group of Germany, had a profound meeting with the delegation.

 

On June 22nd, the delegation visited the city of Freiburg, which enjoys the reputation of Germany's “Green Capital”. Accompanied by Ms. Zhilan Duan, head of the Chinese department of Frye Construction Group, and Mr. Lutz from the German Vauban Community, the delegation visited the “Vauban Community”, a model of Freiburg's urban renewal. Everyone had a close experience of the harmonious coexistence of human and nature.

 


 


Subsequently, the delegation visited the headquarter of the Frye Construction Group in Germany, located in Rieselfeld. Ms. Zhilan Duan gave a vivid presentation, which mainly focused on green building technology and the “Smart Green Tower”, a project that fully embodied the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection. The leader of CDH Group were very inspired and engaged in enthusiastic discussion on the topic with concern of development of domestic assembled passive construction projects.


Finally, the delegation visited the Passive House project “Ecological Green House”, “Ecological Chalet” and “Leju Apartment” in Rieselfeld, Freiburg, which were designed and developed by Frye Construction Group of Freiburg. The architectural design features of the passive house and the comprehensive innovative living concept of the development of the Frye Construction Group in Germany.

 

The two-day green and low-carbon building tour successfully demonstrated the common goals of Beijing CDH Group and Frye Construction Group of Germany to promote sustainable and energy-efficient building development, as well as a common vision to promote sustainable urban renewal and ecological green living.
