The forum adheres to the orientation of “professional high-end, sharing common sense, leading the industry and sustainable development”, with the theme of “experiencing ultra-low-energy buildings and leading the ecological lifestyle”. Besides the main forum of “Practice and Development of Ultra-low-energy Buildings”, there are other five parallel sub-forums, namely “Into the ultra-low-energy buildings, Imagining the ecological livable life”, “Talking about ultra-low energy building standards” and technical system, 'discussing the development of assembled ultra-low-energy buildings industrialization' and 'International Green Building Industry High-Quality Development Entrepreneur Summit'.

Mr. Chen Gang, Member of the Standing Committee of Hebei Provincial Party Committee, and Deputy Governor of the Party Committee of Xiong'an New District, Mr. Wan Bentai, former Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Mr. Wang Xiangming, General Manager of China State Construction Group Co., Ltd. attended the main forum and delivered speeches. At the same time, Mr. Wolfgang Fest, Dean of the German Passive House Research Institute, gave a speech entitled “The Advantages of Passive Houses” as a special guest.

Qiu Baoxing, State Council Counselor, Cui Kai, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wolfgang Feist, Dean of the German Passive House Research Institute, Ms. Wang Jiakun, Partner of Frye Construction Group and Head of China Department, and other eco-friendly building experts were invited to participate in the meeting.

Six years ago, Frey Group joined the promotion of passive ultra-low energy in China when passive building was yet little known. Today, the demand of passive building soared along with the quick development of Chinese economy. Mr. Sven Ring, Technical Director of Frye Group, was invited to participate in the sub-forum “Developing ultra-low-energy building standards and technical systems”.

 He shared Frey Group’s years of experiences of ultra-low energy building projects and application of cutting-edge technology. Concerning the development process of ultra-low energy sustainable building in China and Germany, and the Group’s experiences accumulated these years in investing, designing and building passive building projects, the report analyzed the characteristics of applying passive house technology based on different national features, and the trend of passive building industry in globalization. Mr. Sven Ring also expressed Frey Group’s expectation of closer communication and cooperation in passive building industry between the China and Germany for further contribution in ecological building and low-carbon lifestyle.

The forum in Xiong’an provides an open communication for all experts from related fields over the prospect of developing green, healthy and ecological building in Xiong’an, the industrialization of assembled ultra-low-energy buildings, the integration of industrial chain resources, the construction of industrial development ecology, and the comprehensive upgrading of the construction industry in Xiong'an New District.

Later, the passive housing experts’ communication focused on technique and application cost of ultra-low energy architecture, with concerns of Xiong’an New District’s construction plan, weather condition and other local features. The talk also clarified the implementation of ultra-low energy buildings in Xiong'an New District. On the 1st International Ultra Low Energy Building Forum in Xiong'an New District, Frey Group took the chance to share the healthy and green ultra-low-energy building concept and experience to everyone who cares about green buildings, and to contribute to the construction of the Green Xiong'an New District.
