Frey Group assisting in Theses Selection for the 23rd International Passive House Conference

The 23rd International Passive House Conference will be held in September 2019 at Gaobeidian, Hebei Province, China.

 As the first international passive house conference which will be held in China,it attracts a lot of energy-saving experts, top talent people, building materials companies and developers in construction industry from all over the country.


As the specially-invited reviewer, Mr. Wolfgang Frey, Chairman of the Frey Construction Group, went to Darmstadt and attended the Theses Selection seminar for 23rd international passive house conference from 21st February to 22nd February.

 

During the seminar, distinguished scholars and experts in the field of passive house reviewed more than 300 thesis proposals from over 40 countries, and discussed them from a number of angles as well as different technical levels. Finally they selected some excellent theses which contained in-depth study of passive house theories, project design of passive house, hands-on experience, excellent cases of passive house and cutting edge application technique,

and had them included in the official formal report plan of the conference.


Moreover, On May 3 and May 4 2019, Passive House Institute (PHI) will hold the German Passive House Exchange Meetings in Heidelberg as a supplement to the 23rd International Passive House Conference. ”Heidelberg Town”, the passive house demonstration project which was independently invested, designed and built by Frey Group and will be opened to the public to provide an opportunity for participants to investigate practical projects so that they can have a deep understanding of German passive house technologies and engineering experience. Heidelberg Town is located in the largest Near Zero-energy residential district planning projects in the whole world “Bahnstadt”. This project, as a representative passive house project in Germany, won the  “World’s Most Outstanding Passive House Design” Global Award in the year of 2016.
