'As a green ecological demonstration project, the Wooden House not only meets the standards of passive ultra-low energy consumption building, but also with distinct technical features based on applied eco-techs such as large-scale green roofs, distributed ventilation devices with thermal recovery function, solar photovoltaics, solar thermal collector and wood pallet heating system, etc. Thanks for the innovation in materials, structure, equipment and so on in Wooden House, Frey Group was selected as the presentative of Freiburg city, participated at the 2010 Shanghai Expo, and was awarded as “the Best Practice” of sustainable city and architecture development in terms of this project.'
