    Mr. Wolfgang Frey, the Chairman of Frey Group, founded the WFP Architekten in Germany. In 1991, Mr. Frey officially took over Frey Group, which was founded by his father Friedrich Frey at Bahlingen in Kaiserstuhl in 1959. In the 1970s, Friedrich Frey has already designed and invested in applying solar photovoltaic technology to construction projects. Frey Group, located at Freiburg- “Green City”, renowned in sustainable ecological green architecture in Germany, has invested and designed many successful buildings over the years. Nowadays, the business scope of Frey Group includes green ecological construction investment and development, sustainable urban planning, construction and property management, among which the passive ultra-low energy green building is the focus of the company. The business covers Europe, China and Russia. Mr. Frey has been invited to attend various international ecological architecture forums and conferences, and to give lectures on Urban Planning in Universities. In 2017, he was awarded honorary doctorate by the University of Tumbes of Peru and gave a speech on the topic of “Responsibility of Modern Architecture”.

    Ms. Wang Jiakun immigrated to Germany in 2002, and completed her studies in Magdeburg and Aachen as graduate in architecture and urban planning. She is the partner of Mr. Wolfgang Frey and Director of Greater China. In 2015, Mr. Frey and Ms. Wang have decided to enter the Chinese Market. Thus WFP Architekten soon was founded with business scopes including Urban Planning, Green Architecture design and consulting, among which passive house is the focus of the company. WFP Architekten has designed and conducted many projects in China, and has become the experienced designer and adviser in the field of passive house. The Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao, which is the first project invested and designed by our company, is currently under construction.
